about

absence architect

absence architect is not a project about absence. It is about what remains after it.

The songs do not measure how much was lost. They measure what is left when the loss is finished with you — the residue after meaning erodes, after the ritual stops working, after the invitation is declined, after the narrative collapses, after the graph can no longer be reconstructed, after you wake instead of dream.

Every track is a single object lit in a void: a cracked screen, a pen, a key, a colonnade with its roof caved in. The light always arrives from the same upper corner, hard and uninvited. The floor is always wet, and black, and reflecting. Nothing in the frame is reaching for grief. Everything in it is taking inventory.

The vocabulary is structural, not sentimental — erosion, gravity, fracture, load-bearing failure. A pillar missing where the love should be. A home with no foundation. A timeline where the evidence never arrived. These are not metaphors chosen to decorate a feeling. They are the most accurate words for what attrition actually does: it does not announce itself. It hollows quietly, and leaves the structure standing until it doesn't.

What survives when meaning fades is the only question the record asks. Eight times, in eight rooms, it counts what is still there.
